revision

The day I met Scott Cloverflied will always be a memorable one, the blustery winds that sent me backwards as I struggled to make it down that county road moved at seemingly 50 miles per hours. Move trees move side to side and even bend over touching their blooming limbs to the ground; the wind happened to be so gusty it appeared as though the limbs struggled and stretched to grab the leaves flying away. In the distance, a tornado began and twirler around gaining rocks and dabree as it blew past my face. As my eyes began to glaze over watching this miracle occur, I saw glancing behind me a man slowly but surely making his way up to the other side of the road. This eternity of a walk I had been making, which seemed to be by myself began to be shot to crap. How did this man sneak up behind; I thought to myself and what exactly was he doing here? So I stopped where I was at and began to sit and stare at him, this man could not be contained in a pair of jeans size 34 or even a pair of 38 waistline, his shirt reminded me of something a fat Hawaiian would wear, and their belly still hangs his His walk reminded me of a someone who once got into a scuffle with a bear but in the end came out victorious, he limped to and fro almost like his right leg was longer than the left. As he walked down the county road, he covered his face with what resembled a handkerchief, but I couldn't make exactly what it was out to a T. On top of his head laid the same-old dirty cap, ruined with grease and dirt from brim to the back, I figured it to be his most prized possession, one of those hats you put on for the first time and never go back on. With the tornado slowly gaining ground and approaching us my eyes began to squint, and he turned toward me almost as though he knew I had been watching him. I began to look like a lion stalking his prey. A thought came into my head does this guy need help or should I just continue my path and act like nothing happened. Karma began to overwhelm me and kicked me in the rear; I made a 90-degree angle and headed straight toward this foreign man. Inching closer and closer I could make finally make out the following man who was hidden by his ball cap. The object in his right hand resembled a Beenie from 10 years ago, I began to discover he used it to stop the dust, sand and leaves which we both had been munching on for hours. His fingers covered with rings probably back from high school, and as I approached him, So i went for it and sprang out a question, "sir do you need any help, or you want me to leave you alone," and this is when it all began. He paused and looked at me staring off into space puzzled and did not say a word. I could not get a word in edgewise with this guy, but he said his name was Scott and went on to explain the everyday process he went through, cruising down this road; he enjoyed the walk, and it gave him a time to be alone, to do something that he couldn't do walking in the city. He found peace inside of him and knew that he would never find it anywhere else. I nodded and said, "yea yea man I know what you mean that's why I'm doing the same," then it all stopped he shut his mouth, and I tried to ask him a few questions, and he starred back at me. Reach up and took his cap off and the shiny bald head shone in the sun. His scruffy beard was covered in a thick coat of dust, and his moustache covered up his lip like the monopoly man. His top rows of teeth were no where to be found, and you could tell a sense of happiness inside of him.

ROugh Draft

state your belief
---- I believe living life as it comes to you is better than trying to live on a planned out type of lifestyle
explain your belief
-----Living today I look around and see people who are just living for the next big thing, or are so narrow minded to a solitary idea they would stop at nothing to make it happen. While I do believe this is a good priority to have. I also believe you will miss so many more opportunities than if you would just let life come as it please. By living your life as it comes I mean being flexible, which is so much more than just being able to reach down and touch your toes. Your life comes with its fairs of challenge that nobody can be prepare for regardless of you who are. My belief on how to make it through this crazy world is a simple one be open to willing for something new everyday, try not to plan out your life and have fun. I would love to share with you my story and explain to you the reason behind it.
Growing up my parents always wanted me to live their planned out lifestyle for me, they sternly instructed me that if I did not have a plan for my life that I would fail, they ask the questions "what would I do with my life?" Teachers always told me you need to pick what you are going to when your young, so then when you go to college you can be prepared for the real world. So when I graduated from High School I just knew I was going to go to college to become a teacher, I thought this was the best idea for me seeing as I am from a long line of teachers in my mind it seemed like the perfect plan. So I signed up for college and  I even got a small scholarship to run Track there. We mapped out every semester and how many credits hours I was going to take and even down to every teacher I wanted, I wrote it all down on a sheet of white computer paper, and boy was it a solid plan. I started out my first semester and I quickly realized that this real world stuff wasn't as fun as it was cracked up to be, I became overwhelmed, I started to regret the decisions I have been so admit on. It took my a whole year to realize that I didnt want to be in College or at least in my chosen course of study, so when I went home for the summer I felt this overwhelming sense of relief, I had made it through the first year and was even still eligible to track for the next semester, my plan was still in tact and I thought I'll come back for the next year and keep this going.
As the next year started it was a good one I had bought a house and was living the life a sophomore in college on the track team, I was able to throw crazy parties and have people over when ever I wanted because guess what I owned the house. In the first few weeks of my first semester I started to make a change in my way of thinking about this entire plan I had laid out for my life. To be honest I even went into my room and ripped up the paper copy of my plan into a million little pieces, threw it in the air and walked out of my room. I started to go to class when ever I felt like and just go to practice when it was convenient for me. I started experimenting with all sorts of thing, they ranged from different beers to different clothes and even to different drugs. This is when It made a turn for the worse I really took the whole live you life as it comes to you to the whole new level. When some one would bring something over I would try it, you know you only live once right, why pass it up. Somebody offered me a business proposal to be a middle man between Tulsa and Springfield and I said "Yea lets go for I could make so good money for a while." My way of thinking would have scared some people and it really did worry my family, to them it seemed like I was just trying to run away, but to me it was just living for the moment and not saying no to anything. It took me over a year of living like this until I realized something was seriously up.
So over a course of a year I had dropped out of school and quit the track team, moved back home with my parents and then quickly out of there house and into a two car garage with no insulation and no heat in the dead of winter. I was living with my best friend and still doing the same thing, we were both kicked out his aunt garage and I moved in with another buddy who again struggled to pay the bills so I helped him out and started up the game again, the game in this context is talking about being a middle man or a dealer. We shared a bedroom and drove back in forth from Springfield, this was awesome until his mom found out about me living there and kicked us both out so I was back out on the road again, that was when I was approach by a couple guys we use to deal to who asked me to come live with them and of course I told them "hell yea holmes!" They finally talked some sense into over that year teaching me that I didnt have to try everything that came my way and that I could say no to some thing. They taught me a beautiful thing of logic and common sense that if I really wanted to do it, then i should go for but if it wasnt something that I did not love then just leave it alone. I was broken down and scared so I ran off from them I thought they were trying to kill my dreams and that they didnt know anything.
It wasnt until I was completely out on my own that I truly realized what living for the moment really meant. Living for the moment wasnt that litterly everything that walked in front of me I had to try, or that I should do everything someone asked me to do. It wasnt even as easy as dont plan out your life like I was so desperate to run away from. My thoughts came on a cold winter night laying in my bed listening to The Rain Song by Led Zeppelin, yes living for the moment can give you a temporry sense of satisfaction and can leave you on top of the world but that is not what life is all about. My life had came so far I had made thousands of dollar I had seen almost the entire United States but what did I gain from it, it got me a lot friends who didnt care at all about me it made me lose the friends who would of taken a bullet for me and made me lose the family who raised me to an amazing kid. I gave up on school and my dreams of track, but it wasnt over yet I could still do something about it.
So I wrote it down I wrote it all out spent all night pouring my emotions my spirits my passions everything in that black journal. Looking back on this life I've lived it started out with plans big big plans and they slowly started to fall apart, I changed from living a life where it was planed out to a t and how long it was going to take me and it was going to be perfect, and then it made a huge change into I dont need a plan i can do it on my own and in the famous words of Mac Miller "imma live free aint nobody gunna tell me how to do me." Life threw me a curve ball and took me two and half years to get the bat around on it.
Life is about learning how to balance your choices and weighing each and every possibility. I still believe you should lean on the side of living life on the fly, and that doesnt mean you should turn around tomorrow and lose every single plan you have. No what I'm saying is you should have goals you are trying to reach, but if something gets in the way of those goals and you can no longer go in that path you should take a turn at something else instead of throwing a temper tantrum about it. As well as even if you are almost to your goal and something else comes along and you enjoy it more go and do it but you better start another goal once you change. This is a tricky balancing act for the both of them like myself you should never get to the point where you are so stuck on a fixed plan that you forget to have fun, and you should never have so much fun that you forget what a plan or a goal even is.
I like many others have learned this lesson without truly wanting to. We have been thrown into the real world and just do not know how to handle it. There are many choices that we must make and many things that we are going to wrong. Its not about how much you do right in this world or how far you are going to make it. Its like Ive said before life is a balancing act that you have got to learn to live your life how you want it and be open to new things whenever they may come your way. Dont be afraid of something you have never tried, don't be broken hearted if your plan does not work out, this is life. So my challenge for you and  if you accept it, is a simple one find something that makes you happy, starting working toward a goal, do not be upset when you fail or your path in life changes, do not plan your life out down to every detail, and by all means necessary  have fun.
------Living on the the fly relieves your stress level, frees up your day to enjoy life, you never let down people, opens your eyes a little bit.
what is the challenge
---------Find a comfortable balance b/w planning and living free, you can have a plan in mind but dont be so close minded if it doesnt work out have a goal and be working toward it but if something better comes along go for it, and then begin a new plan.
what would happen if you accepted the challenge
--------If you accept my challenge you are going to find your stress level is a little lower, you are going to find happiness in everything you do- because you are doing something you enjoy or something that caught your eye and you gave it a shot. You wont be living in  a life of What Ifs and Maybes, You are going to take every shot you can until the right one comes along.

Traits

So its just another day, I can see the effect of the twenty plus mph wind it has the trees bent over like they are trying to pick up the leaves off the ground instead of starring and trying to catch them as they fly off their feeble little limbs. You can see the dust of the gravel road coming beginning to form a tornado and as I look that way I notice a man walking down the other side, where he came from i will never know it was like he quietly snuck up beside me. As i stopped to take at look at who he might be, i noticed something about his walk, it was like he had been malled by a bear or broken his leg. He limped to one side then to the other kind of like one leg was longer than the other. He wasnt exactly the skinniest person around either, he wasnt into sports or anything like track and field he had a gut that just slowly rolled over the top of his belt buckle. I also saw in his right had was something he was trying to cover up his face it was like he had walked down this road before and knew it was going to be windy but I couldnt figure out what it was. He was wearing a ball cap dirty to the brim and back, figured he had worn it since the day he bought it one of those guys who thinks he going to be preppy and wear something knew everyday but then he found one that he loved and just stuck to it. I could make out the words on the front of it said Rapala and was camo on the front and open in the back. As I starred and watch I thought to myself does this guy need my help or should I just keep on walking by like nothing was happening. As a good samartain and with karma kicking me in the rear I made a 90 degree angle and headed straight for him. The closer I got the more this man became real. I could see under his hat was a flowing amount of curly brown hair. I could make out the object that was in his hand a dark blue beenie he was using so he didnt eat so much dust. And Finally I could see a state championship ring on his left ring finger. As I approach him I just asked sir do you need any help or you just want me to leave you alone. Well he stopped and look at me couldnt figure out why anybody had said a word to him but he just went after it. Couldnt get a word in edgewise with this guy. He told me his name Scott and that he had been walking this road for the last 6 years, he told me he enjoyed the walk it gave him a time to be alone do something that he couldnt do walking in the city. He had found peace inside of him and knew that he would never find it anywhere else. I nodded and said yea yea man i know what you mean thats why Im doing the same, then it all stopped he just shut his mouth I tried to ask him a few questions and he just looked at me. Took off his ball cap and thats when it got real. He started to cry and when he sunk his head to wipe the tears from his eyes I saw he was bald on the top of his head sorta had the bowl cut but it wasnt by choice you know. He had a scruffy beard like it had not trimmed or done anything to in years it collected more dust than the beenie he covered his face with, His moustache connected just below his up lower and covered the top row of his teeth so I wasnt even sure is he had a full set of them.

So heres the BODY BOY

So now that I've tossed this idea in your head about whether or not you are really living or if you are just going through the motions let me explain myself. In today's day and age it seems like you have people going a million miles an hour go to and from hitting the road and just going places they wake up to a set alarm that always goes off to certain toon and even an exact time and if they wake up any later its like their whole day has been thrown off. We see people take out long calendars and spends hours if not days planning out how they are going to spend every weekend when they can sit down and do there home work or when they are going to walk the dog. How can you live like this how can you have a structured life that a piece of paper or a books tells you what to do or when to do. Let me show you a couple of things that you are going to miss living a life where nothing matters but making it on time.
First off do any of you have a planner that sits beside you bed or go with you every where you go? How full is it? Do you have certain times for work? School? Church? Now look at it again if you go that deep have you even put in a certain time that is marked off as "Fun Time" if you were like me than yes you planned everything out but when it came down to it you never had enough time to do the things you really enjoyed or you never had enough homework time or travel time or really enough time at all. It wasn't until I sat down and really got to thinking about who I was that I scratch this idea of I have to be here or I will miss this or If i dont make  it here who will ever forgive me. Good news guys, and gals, you can fix it you can start from scratch, It can be broken down to three easy ways of living.
How to start, and yes we are going to take baby steps for you. You need to take that planner that you have with you and toss it out. I can see the look on your face now your eyes are glazed over and possiably both of your eyebrows have become a little bit closer and you may even be doing a double take on that sentence, but Im serious. You are living for the next thing you have all these fixed plans that control your life and you have to let go of them. Plans and goals yes they are good to have but are they really your plans and your own goals or are they just something to work toward. When you are living for the next thing you are like a horse in the kentucky derby and a dark set of blinders on not even realizing what to the left and to the right of you. Open your eyes guys be ready for the oppurtunities life is going to slap you square across the face with. The first few days are going to be rough you are going to think that Im giving up sanity and I have no boundaries but think about the times that you threw a tempur tantrum when something got in the way of your future plans let go of it let this life take you where it wants.
Now the next step in living a life that is on the fly is letting go of your obligations or your desires to arrive at the next higher up goal. I want to ask you a question how many of you are just going to work and putting in the long hours and trying so much harder because that is what is expected of you to get a promotion. Are you really enjoying the life you have? Or are you just going through the motion hoping and wishing you arrive at that promotion. Why? I've never quite understood why you kill yourself and stress over things like trying to make it through college, and most of the time you could care less if your really there or not. It just this goal everyone has put in front of you and you are bound and determined to make it there, and you're so chained to that idea that sometimes you forget the keys are in your back pocket and you could walk away anytime. This life is going to chuck you into race whether you like it or not are you going to be scared that you're not ready or are you going to embrass it because this is where you are at.

Who Really Knows?

Its just another sun shining day.
Peaking through the blinds and hitting my face
Brings me a smile that I hate to admit
Only one more day has come and gone
Though leaving this world is all to strong
You can me smile and you tell me I can
The look on face is something quite grand
Having you back man it's quite a trip
Not rolling around or even in the car
I think this time my stories gone to far
I can hear Big Krit sing banana clip theory
Ain't got no where to run I seeing this clearly
Sun shining on my face almost been 6
Ain't touch that shit but still got vision
I think my whole life is getting fixed
See you know visuals and everything else
I'm outta this story and you didn't even help

rough draft

What are the advantages of living life on the fly instead of planning?
-Less stress in your life
-Not worrying about where you have to be
-Not on a Time Table of events that you are forced to go to
-Open to every opition that comes to you.
-because you always ready to do it

No fixed Plans with No intent upon arriving
Letting go of fixed plans could mean as much as letting go of things we have dead set in our minds, when we let go of the fixed plans we start to open our eyes up to the oppurtunity that are around us and sometimes are slapping us in the face. We sometimes get so worked up when things get in the way of our future plans, like being a teacher or a doctor or a career, that deep down inside we start to feel like a three year old whose daddy told him he wasnt going to get that ice cream cone. Now if you are sticking with me and I hope you are lets throw yet another curveball at your programmed way of life.
Now the

Squirtles Crayon

What does it mean to be broken? How to you mend yourself once you have become broken down? Why does the bottom half always get thrown out and the top half sticks around? Or how do you make the best of being broken down into something people don't want anymore. All these are the questions I think about when I glanced at the box of crayons and realize there is more than one broken blue crayon. How to start this and make it not sound like someone is tempting me to go out on a limb and show out my emotions. Are we here to show each other we are meant to be or are we here just wanting to try and fix one another. Where is the crayon doctor at with her tape and glue putting together the bottoms and the tops of old crayons. Or is the fate of Mr. Blue to the knew Crayola crayon make that melts down the crayons and make the rainbow owns. You see Im trying to get a hold of Doc McStuffions to bring her toolbox of toy fixing things down she has always been there for the stuffed animals so why couldn't she fix my blue crayon, its just as broken down it still shows the same emotions as the animals do and it cares for me and lets me explain my situation just in kinda a different way. Or how would she do because Ive gave it shot i have tried to fix my crayon Ive even used the hot glue gun trying to mend the break and filling up all the holes but it doesn't last it is just a temporary fix it doesn't really fix the problem i can go about this day by day and for a while it will work and i can still make a few pictures still color a few things see the sunshine and feel good but it breaks and then im left with two pieces again and im back in the same boat so how do i find a more permanent fix if the Doc is not available how do i make it own my own the way it should be. The bottom half is still the same the length as it was when we started should i just let it go and when the top half is down just sharpen it and be on with my day. Or do i just throw it out it is my past the bottom half is from a story that was long ago Ive been trying to mend it back to the present Ive been trying to make it more than what it really is now a days and all it is doing is holding me back and ending what i really could have been and the most beautiful thing.
